Fall Leaf & Brush Curbside Collection Dates

Residents who live from the Missouri River, south to 63rd Street will receive curbside leaf and brush collection from October 22nd – October 26th and again from November 26th – November 30th. Curbside collection will take place on your regularly-scheduled trash day.

The Midtown Neighborhood Forum is an opportunity for Midtown neighborhoods to meet and share similar issues and best practices. This quarterly event also provides learning opportunities on neighborhood-related topics for residents in the MainCor service area: Pershing to 47th, SW Trafficway to Gillham Road.

Oktoberfest in Westport

Thursday, September 27 through Sunday, September 30

Oktoberfest will return to Westport for the second year on Thursday, September 27, 2018 – Sunday, September 30, 2018. This event will be a “must attend” for not only Kansas Citians, but fun-lovers across the Midwest. So, mark your calendars, secure your lederhosen and plan on attending Kansas City’s largest German heritage celebration in the of heart Westport! With an incredible array of food, beer and unique attractions, Oktoberfest is an event not to be missed.  The event will be free to the public, though there will be a charge to access specific VIP areas.

The second annual Oktoberfest will feature an expanded tasting program, the BierHaus tent, more stein hoisting, a main stage of German and current music, roaming entertainment, games, wiener dog races, unique vendors, the return of the Lederhosen Lap 5k run and a full Sunday schedule of events has been added as well.
